Year Programme
Integrating Social Change and Self-Development
We are very excited to invite you to join this One Year Programme designed to support those who are committed to continuing to learn NVC and integrating NVC into their lives. The programme will offer a minimum of 13 days training. Our aim is to create together a programme that meets all of our needs in relation to learning how to use NVC in our day to day lives, integrating Social Change and Self-Development.
The
Programme consists of six weekend modules between February and November
2006 (scheduled dates), with an
optional one-week workshop
with Eva Rambala in Poland in June.
Topics we intend to cover on the Year Programme include:
- NVC & Money
- NVC and Sex
- Power issues
- Initiating social change
- NVC and Meditation
- The NVC 'Dancefloors'
- See full listing
The Trainers for this Programme are Eva Rambala (Hungary) and Shantigarbha (UK), certified trainers. More about the Trainers. There are no formal requirements to joining the programme other than an intention to commit to the six modules. You are likely to get the most from the programme if you already have some fluency of the key ideas and concepts and have some experience of applying NVC.
The venue and accommodation is Houghton Chapel Centre, Houghton, near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
This is an experiential programme using exercises to support you to apply NVC in situations in your own life. This includes practical exercises, guided reflection, discussion and journalling. Participants are encouraged to work in pairs with a ‘buddy’ during and between modules.
There is no ‘set fee’ for this course. Part of the learning on the programme will include how we relate to and use money in our lives. To meet our needs for balance and support, we would be happy to receive £1100.00 from you. More about fees.
These thirteen days can be applied towards the 30 days of training asked for as part of the CNVC certification process. For those who want to, we are offering support towards certification: attendance does not qualify participants for certification.
This programme is part of Eva's efforts in 2006 to fundraise for the Eastern European NVC project.
How do I register for the Year Programme?
To help us plan and use resources effectively, would you be willing to print out, complete and return the Registration Form & Agreement with a deposit of £150.00 (cheque payable to 'Shantigarbha'), by December 30th 2005.
