Would you like to transform your communication? This residential course: - Introduces you to the steps of the NVC process for use in expressing yourself to others, listening to others and listening compassionately to yourself. - Will give you sufficient information and practice to start using NVC in your daily life. - Is run in an experiential style working with examples from participants' lives. - Uses the NVC Dance Floors for active, integrated learning. - Is challenging, moving, supportive and fun! The trainers are Shantigarbha and Christa Gronow (CNVC.org certified trainers). Venue: Aryaloka retreat centre is located in woods near Newmarket, NH. It provides accommodation in shared rooms and delicious vegetarian food. To prepare for the workshop, please read Marshall Rosenberg's "Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life" or watch the DVD, "The Basics of NVC". |

These trainings are designed for practising skills learned in your Foundation Training, PLUS developing further understanding and skills in the area of empathy. (The other 'Deepenings' we offer are in the areas of Anger and Conflict). On this training we: - review and practise the basic ingredients of NVC - share the ups and downs of applying NVC in your life - extend skills and understanding with the NVC Dance Floors. - discover the healing power of presence - connect empathically with ourselves and others - hear the needs behind challenging messages. Trainers: Shantigarbha and Christa Gronow For this training we'll be joined by Mark Walsh, who has pioneered a new system of gentle, mindful exercise called 'Holistics', based on Aikido and 'Somatics'. Mark will lead us in an hour's Holistics training each day. We'll be combining this with work on the NVC Dance Floors (Inner/Outer, Self-Empathy, Anger, Guilt, Shame & Depression, Educator/Chooser, Yes/No) to fully embody our feelings and needs. These trainings are designed for practising skills learned in your Basic Training, PLUS developing further understanding and skills in the area of anger, guilt, shame and depression. On this training we: - Review and practise the basic ingredients of NVC - Share the ups and downs of applying NVC in your life - Extend skills and understanding with the 'Anger, Guilt, Shame and Depression' Dance Floor. (Dance Floors are spatial maps of the NVC process which we lay on the floor and walk through - hence Dance Floors). - Learn how to express anger fully without blame, attack or threat - Learn how to receive anger in ways that increase safety, respect and understanding.
